"Pretty underwhelming"
It just wasn’t great for me. Support took way too long to respond. I expected better.

"Still not totally convinced"
I went with Simply Business because it sounded like it would be simple enough, but I came away not feeling 100% sure about it. Some of the wording felt a bit too polished and company-like, which always makes me wonder what’s being left out. I also had to follow up more than I expected, and a few things weren’t as clear as I’d hoped. Maybe other people have a smoother time, but I’d definitely say read everything carefully and don’t just trust the nice-sounding bits.

"Claims guidance felt unclear"
The claims guidance felt vague, and I had to keep chasing around just to get clear answers. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I did feel a bit dismissed at times, like my questions were more of an inconvenience than something they actually wanted to help with. For an already stressful situation, it made everything more annoying than it needed to be.

"Not worth the hassle, honestly"
I felt ignored the whole time, and all the policy stuff was confusing as heck. Just wasn’t worth the hassle for me, tbh.

"Renewal price jumped again"
I was already on the fence about renewing, and then the price went up again. When I asked about it, I just got the usual “it’s our policy” type of explanation, which was frustrating. At this point, it doesn’t feel worth renewing.

I’m frustrated with Simply Business 😕 Every time there’s a policy update, it feels like something changes in a way that doesn’t work in my favor, but the emails don’t really make it clear what’s going on. I had to go digging around just to figure out what had actually changed. When I reached out to support, the answers were really basic and didn’t explain much. At this point, I don’t feel very confident staying with them. It’s way more hassle than something like this should be.

I signed up thinking I understood the cost, but then I noticed extra fees afterward. It literally felt like they were hidden until after I’d already joined

"Felt brushed off while trying to buy"
The whole purchase process took way longer than it should have, and it got really frustrating. I felt like my time didn’t matter and like I was being dismissed when I just wanted to get the order done.

"Not many insurer options for me"
I went on Simply Business hoping I’d be able to compare a decent range of insurers, but the choices felt limited for what I needed. I thought there’d be more to look through, more options, that sort of thing.
The prices didn’t feel super clear when I was trying to compare them either, so after a while I just gave up and looked somewhere else. It wasn’t awful, just felt like a bit of a waste of time for me.

"Couldn’t really adjust my policy the way I wanted"
I was trying to customize my policy a bit, and it barely let me change the things I actually needed. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but it was frustrating. I guess it’s fine if you don’t need many options, but for me it felt way too limited

I called support and they did get back to me, but they didn’t really help much?! I ended up having to figure most of it out on my own.

"Too expensive for what you actually get"
I looked into this thinking it might be a good fit for my small business, but the quote came back higher than I expected. The cover itself didn’t really feel like it justified the price, and this is where it got annoying: once the extra fees started getting added on, the total climbed quickly. In the end, I found better value somewhere else. Probably not the best option if you’re a small business trying to keep costs tight.

"Phone support was alright"
I called in for help and they did get my issue sorted out, but I was on hold longer than I expected. They mentioned I’d get an email/receipt afterward, which came through fine, so overall it was okay, just a bit slower than I’d hoped.

"My claim has taken way longer than it..."
My claim has taken way longer than it should have, and I keep getting stuck in this support loop where one person tells me to contact another team, then that team sends me right back again. It feels like I’ve been passed around with no clear update or resolution. Really frustrating.

I tried getting a quote on simplybusiness.com it was more of a hassle than I expected. There were so many questions, and a few of them felt like they were asking the same thing in a slightly different way, almost like they were trying to steer me toward something without just saying it. I also had to go back a couple of times because some parts weren’t very clear.
By the end, I still wasn’t totally sure whether I was looking at the right cover or if the price actually made sense for what I needed. Maybe that’s the point, to get you far enough in that you just accept it, but I didn’t really feel confident. It just felt clunky and annoying, so I gave up and checked somewhere else.

"Paperwork was a bit of a hassle"
Getting the policy itself was fine, but the whole documents and certificates part was annoying, annoying. I needed the certificate quickly and it took me longer than expected to find and download the right one. A few details weren’t super clear either, so I ended up double checking everything myself. It wasn’t terrible, but for business insurance I really thought the paperwork side would be smoother, smoother.

"Billing turned into a whole ordeal"
I tried to pay and the payment page kept throwing errors, I remember it because the little loading spinner would just sit there forever and then dump me back to the same screen. I assumed nothing went through, but then I checked my bank app and they’d charged me twice. Support kept handing me off to different people, and each reply had a slightly different subject line, which made it even harder to track. It took way too long to fix, and the emails never really explained what was happening.

"Canceling turned into a whole thing"
Canceling was way more annoying than it needed to be. I just wanted to stop the service and move on, but it felt like they kept putting little roadblocks in the way, and I was sitting there thinking, why is this so complicated? It should’ve been a quick click or two, not this frustrating back-and-forth.
